ACORNS

activation
The ask was to create buzz around the Acorns app. We employed some furry friends to help spread the word. Squirrels get a bad rap for being stupid, but when it comes to savings, they’re pros. We’re going to stage a stunt, placing fake squirrels offering real Acorns advice in major parks around the country. Much like Acorns, squirrels are nuts for savings; the only difference is, their savings are nuts. Acorns offers the best financial advice for saving and investing; if you don’t believe us, ask the squirrels.

INTRODUCING: WALLnut STREET
We’ll start by moving the financial district to the park.

PARK TAKEOVER
As visitors enter the park, they’ll be met by squirrels giving financial advice in their own special way. When they approach the desk, they’ll be able to translate the squirrel’s gibberish using a simple QR code.

MERCH
Special edition merch will be available in the park and on the Acorns website.
