NOM NOM

activation
Nom Nom sells food for both dogs and cats, yet their social is seriously lacking cat content. We’re going to shake things up with a rebellion from these overlooked felines. It will start with an anonymous hack, and turn into a full-blown cat takeover. For two weeks, we’ll raise awareness for Nom Nom’s cat food by staging a social stunt that will end in a “truce” that includes one order of discounted prices for cat owners. Our story? Never slight a cat on social; Nom Nom, prepare to be hacked.

DAY 1: A “WHODUNNIT” HACK

Nom Nom’s social is about to get weird. Confused onlookers will ask themselves, “Has this account been hacked?” and, “Is that Nick Cage... as a cat?” The answer is yes. And yes.

DAY 2: CAT TAKEOVER
Yep, it was the cats - and they’re just getting started. They’ll make some necessary changes, starting with Nom Nom’s website.

Then they’ll fix Nom Nom’s instagram by replacing the boring posts with more elevated content.

VICTORY & COMPROMISE
After a two-week takeover, Nom Nom’s content creators have waved their white flag. The cats will now get the attention they deserve on social. As a celebratory gesture, they’re giving every cat a 10% discount on their next Nom Nom purchase.

As a gesture of good will, they’ll end their feud with the dogs in exchange for a slight alteration to the website’s homepage.
